Collage Class
Join us for this 2-day fabric collage class and learn how to make a beautiful piece of art that will bring joy for generations.
We have several Laura Heine patterns to choose from or Lori (teacher) can help you create your own collage.
Book your class by calling us and paying ahead of time or save your spot. It's also essential to stop in and purchase fabric so we'll be ready to go on class day.
| Requirements: | Materials to bring to each class (ie: Sewing Kit): Sewing machine - oiled, cleaned, and ready to go!!! Cutters - Scissors (large, small, and paper-only), rotary cutter with sharp blade, mat (not always needed, inquire first) Small items - pins (straight and safety), clips (good if sewing binding and some other projects), hand-sewing needles, small ruler or some kind of measuring tool, marking pen or chalk, extra bobbins, a variety of sewing machine feet, a walking foot is also quite useful. SEAM RIPPER - I mention this separately because it is so important (and I don't like sharing mine) Reading glasses (if needed). Threading that needle can sometimes be a real challenge. A container to carry all of this; sewing basket, tool kit, tote, whatever it takes to stay organized. Material - washed (this is often a good idea, especially if you have purchased box store fabric or flannel), ironed, and starched (if you wish, professional quilters swear by it). *** Please stop in before each class to purchase fabric and any other supplies you may need. This way we can get started and spend as much time as possible doing what we enjoy most - sewing! :) |
